Functioning As The Referee

 Satan, you are a liar and you've been a liar since the beginning.  The Holy Spirit and i are in the process of defeating you.  All the glory always goes to Jesus Christ because He's already defeated you.  He had you pegged out in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights.  All He had to do was smack you with words from the Old Testament.  There was no need for Jesus to be miserable on that journey.  These days there are too many of us who choose to be miserable on the journey and it begins with disbelief which leads to blindness, inability to see the love of God is all around us if we take a deep breath and stop for a moment and look around.  Either we strive for food that rots or food  that lasts.

Teach me, Holy Spirit, to number my days, that i may gain a heart of wisdom.  When it comes to my passing, they won't be able to say what my mother warned me about years ago, that "he died a lonely man." i have You for a Father, YAH, and Jesus Christ for a brother.  My frustrations, from this point onward, shall be far less than anybody else's because i'm always going to wait on You, Lord, to meet my needs in Your time and in Your way.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifs to your children, how much more shall your father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! -[Matthew 7:11]  Now, that's an incredible promise from an incredible God!  Keep me dead to sin and alive to You, Abba Father, even Satan, like all creatures, is under Your authority.  There is no longer a battle of the universe between God and Satan; the battles now are for men's souls and because of You, Lord, i am not tempted beyond what i can bear.  Your are involved in my struggles against temptations.  You're right here functioning as the Referee.
