Cry Out For Discernment
When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom. -[Proverbs 11:2]
So, Noah means "comfort and rest." Yet we need to be made aware of the days of Noah, for they are indeed here again. The kind of rest we're engaging in now only epitomizes our laziness to a point where there's no call to rest at all. Resting can only bring on a quicker destruction. There's far too many of us resting or "camping." We're all too content in dealing with the devices of the devil. It's time to get ourselves upright! To make the better choice to obey God and follow through on His commands. To say to ourselves: "I've got to see what God wants me to do today! I'm going to discover today some of the ways God wants me to live and respond and initiate action." It's time to read our Bibles for guidance for our lives, not just to have something good to read for our minds.
My son, if you receive my word, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. -[Proverbs 2: 1-5]
Abba Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit who is designed to give me promptings, immediate knowing of what to say, what to do. He is my survival kit on how to respond to dangers from demonic spirits. He gives me comfort and serenity that only You can provide anyway, making me aware that by losing i am really winning. A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self-confident. -[Proverbs 14:16] i hear a lot of us followers saying we can't wait for the Rapture, and there are many who need to be made aware and reminded of the White Throne Judgment. We also know that Satan must have a very long chain.
