When I Feel Stuck in a Rut

Even though many times i feel i'm not on the right path or i feel stuck in a rut, a visit to His Word gives me genuine hope that He is asking me or nudging me to be faithful, because with faith it is easier to be patient.  Even a saint must be faithful and patient.   The visions in my head trouble me; the eagle's wings are plucked off a lion, and i'm made to stand up on two feet like a man.  Three of my ribs are in the mouth of a bear and he's devouring my flesh! --[Daniel 7: 4-5]

But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever -- [Daniel 7: 18]  i'm discovering that it's easy for me to deny that i'm a saint but that i really do want to be one.  Self-proclaimed kings and queens will always put disturbing visions in my head but in the long run--hopefully not too long a run--i will be one saint who can possess the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

There will be a war against the saints and those on the attack will prevail until the Day of Judgment when God will speak the word of victory to His saints. --[Daniel 7: 21-22]

Lord, give me wisdom as i seek Your knowledge in Your Word this morning.  i have already witnessed the stroke of Your paint brush as i walked on this bright beautiful morning.  Bless my mentors and preserve their efforts:  Drs. David Jeremiah and Charles F. Stanley, W. A. Criswell.  i praise You, Lord, for providing teachers for me so i can explore and seek passages in the Holy Bible to be blessed by Your instructions and promises.  In Jesus' name.  Amen
