Heart, Soul, and Strength

 "Someday this upside-down world will be turned right side up.  Nothing in all eternity will turn it back again." -- Randy Alcorn When it comes to dreams, hopes, friends, plans, i have died many times.  Many deaths.  Violence is happening as though it's a natural given.  At train stations in Boston.  In schools across the country.  No state is exempt. Soon there will be events occurring at the Hub in Worcester.  i can feel it coming.  Hassles on the city buses.  Someone will open a window on a bus in the winter, make somebody else cold and angry and then they'll be a fight in the close quarters.  Innocents will be harmed or indirectly targeted.  Even the bus drivers will be in on it.  Neighbors will snap because somebody's television is too loud or a couple is creaking the bedsprings noisily doing the nasty on the other side of a thin wall.  i will die many, many more deaths before the upside-down world will be turned...

 Imagine!  i am one of His people.  Living now in simplicity and not extravagantly.  Like the Lord Jesus came into this world.  A world made more wonderful because of His presence here!  Identifying with the least of us!  Exposed and vulnerable to the dangers of the world, and there are many dangers.  i watch Jeremy Wade's River Monsters  and know now to stay out of the water!   The smell of straw.  The aroma of straw mixed with horse piss and manure.  The sneezing from the hay.  The heavy heaving of a pitch fork cleaning out the stable.  Watching the birth of a foal, the mare sniffing the afterbirth.  Not a pretty sight for the humble beginnings of my Savior.  O that i might have a tiny house in the woods somewhere that i may leave from here for the people here are godless and worldly always ready to commit harm and violence with their mouths and some now with guns and knives totally oblivious to the fact that God is watching them and listening to their unbridled tongues that are worse than automatic weapons.  In their hearts, they lie in wait after speaking peace and love with those deceitful tongues, tongues dripping with honey only to collect money, only to save on what's to them costly. You should avenge Yourself on such a state as this!  i accept Your path for me.  The single path with no more wondering why i've been chosen to be single.  Not taken aback by the hype of Valentin's Day and the criticisms of those who want to point out that they have a partner when i don't.  Keep me from laughing upon hearing arguments and folks banging on walls from couples who think they're more privileged than i because they can embrace and kiss each other in public.  Let me focus on anything to magnify Jesus Christ and promote revival.  I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.  Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.  --[Psalm 34: 1-3] May i always be reminded and reflect upon the Ten Commandments so that i may put my life and activities in proper perspective.  i cannot get to heaven on my own acts.  Good or bad.  Only...

 i trust You.  i know You'll give just as You gave Your Son to heal my scars and to remove my thorns.  Keep me out of the crab-buckets.  There are many to fall into or stumble into.  Thank You for the resources that guide me to the Word.  Never let me tire of delving into the Word.  The messengers You've sent along my path are a joy to fall and stumble into.  i know You won't let one of them lead me astray.  Please give me a level of understanding that surpasses my years.  There are overwhelming circumstances which threaten to take me under.  i'm an overcomer only because of You.
